Abstract

This research is about interpersonal communication in motivating drug addict patients in Rehabilitasi Kunci Yogyakarta. The problem formulation of this research is how interpersonal communication motivates drug addict patients to recovery. The purpose of this research is to determine interpersonal communication in motivating drug addict patients in Rehabilitasi Kunci Yogyakarta. The type of research used in this reseacrh is qualitative using qualitative descriptive methods. The subject of this reseacrh is social workers and drug addict patients. While the object of this research is interpersonal communication. The results of this research indicate that Rehabilitasi Kunci Yogyakarta uses an interpersonal communication approach which includes openness, empathy, supportive attitude, positive attitude, an equality. Interpersonal communication is very important in the success of the rehabilitation process of drug addict patients. With good communication, encourage good motivated behavior to achieve their healing goals.
