Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of accessing the Tik Tok application on student motivation in completing skripsi. Tik Tok is also used as an educational medium, one of which is the Tik Tok account @buiramira. Based on this background, the formulation of the problem in this study is the influence of accessing the Tik Tok application on student motivation in completing skripsi and how big is the effect? then for the theory used, namely the theory of selective processes, through this theory will be known the process of searching for information that is selective, in this case information about completing the thesis. This research uses quantitative methods with correlation techniques and survey methods to collect data obtained from questionnaires with 100 respondents. The results showed that Ha was accepted because of the significance level of 0.000<0.05, meaning that there was an influence between accessing the Tik Tok application on student motivation in completing the thesis, and the magnitude of the effect of accessing the Tik Tok application on student motivation in completing the skripsi final project of 47%. The conclusion there is a significant influence in accessing the Tik Tok application on student motivation in completing skripsi.
