Abstract

Boy group be one of the main parts of K-Pop culture that gave rise to the existence of a group of fans or commonly referred to as the fandom. Boy group K-Pop ENHYPEN that has the name of a group of fans (fandom) ENGENE be the topic of conversation on social media. It also occurred in ENGENE in Yogyakarta city, which formed a WhatsApp Group ENGENE Jogja. The purposed of this studied was to analyze the communication group of fans (fandom) that occurred on the WhatsApp Group ENGENE Jogja in maintained the cohesiveness of the group. This researched used a descriptive qualitative method and the theory used was the Theory of the Thinking of the Groups (Group Think Theory). Data collection techniques were used, namely participant observation, interviews online, and a screenshot as the primary data. Researcher also used the study of literature as secondary data or supporting the research. The results of the studied were based on the results of the analyzed of group communication on any of the dimensions of cohesiveness of the group that consisted of the power of social, the unity in the group, attractiveness and also cooperation group.
