Abstract

The STIFIn method is a method used to memorize the Alquran according to its intelligence machine. Intelligence machine are divided into 5 types namely sensing, thinking, intuiting, feeling, insting, shortened to STIFIn. In the process of memorizing the Alquran, students encounter problems such as boredom, lazy, hopeless, and forgetting. If the problem is not solved with the right solution, some negative effects such as depression, failure to memorize, and behavioral retention can all be possible. Therefore, the implementation of a method is very important in the process of memorizing the Alquran in order to achieve the desired goal. The STIFIn method comes with an accurate and applicable concept, applying a memorization method that is in accordance with the potential of intelligence. Through the application of the right method, there will be an increase in the memorization and psychological well-being of students. The aims of this research are to describe the implementation and implications of the STIFIn method on psychological well-being, as well as to analyze the motivating and inhibiting factors for improving the psychological well-being of adolescent students who memorized the Alquran through the implementation of the STIFIn method. This study uses a qualitative design with a case study approach. There are three types of informants in this study, namely key informants, main informants, and supporting informants. Methods of collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity test of the data using source triangulation. Analysis of the data through the data collection phase, data reduction, data presentation and verification of data. The results showed: 1) The Implementation of the STIFIn method is implemented in accordance with machine intelligence of the student for the types of sensing, thinking, intuitive, feeling, while the STIFIn method for instinctual types has not been implemented properly and correctly; 2) The STIFIn method which consists of sensing, thinking, intuiting, feeling, instinct shows positive implications for the dimensions of psychological well-being of self-acceptance, personal growth, life goals, autonomy, environmental mastery and positive relationships with others;3) Factors that support the STIFIn method and increase the psychological well-being of adolescents who memorize the Alquran include: a strong desire to memorize the Alquran, consistency, parental support, environment, religiosity while inhibiting factors for increasing the psychological well-being of adolescents who memorize the Alquran These include: machine intelligence does not match personality, can't manage time, feels lazy and bored.
