Abstract

Its development, each teenager has characteristics and tasks that must be passed, so that his physical and emotional development grows and develops maturely. Basically, if the process is not passed properly in its development, there will be obstacles and failures in living the next phase of life. This condition of uncertainty and emotional misalignment makes adolescents easily influenced by the environment and results in them not being able to adapt to the surroundi ng environment and causing dangerous behavior. Adolescent physical and emotional maturity are strongly influenced by a healthy family environment and a Society environment that supports adolescent development in a positive direction. This study aims to des cribe in depth about the development of adolescent social piety based on Islamic religious education in the Limbangan hamlet, Karangdawa village, Margasari Tegal, explore in depth the keys to success and causes of failure in fostering adolescent social pie ty, and analyze the efforts made in overcoming the failure of fostering youth social piety based on Islamic religious education in Limbangan hamlet, Karangdawa village, Margasari, Tegal. This type of research is qualitative with an educational sociology r esearch approach. Using observation, interview and documentation data collection methods. Determination of research subjects using purposive sampling technique with the number of informants as a whole consisting of 10 families, Teacher (ustadz) and village officials. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that, First, the development of social piety for adolescents based on Islamic religious education in the Limbangan hamle t, Karangdawa village, Margasari, Tegal was successful ; Second, the key to success and the cause of the unsuccessful development of adolescent social piety in the Limbangan hamlet, Karangdawa village, Margasari Tegal, is the family and Teacher (ustadz) pr oviding support, advice, and knowledge and support from the Society. While the factors that cause the development of adolescent social piety to be hampered are influenced by association ; Third, the efforts made by parents and clerics in overcoming the fai lure in fostering social piety of adolescents in Limbangan hamlet, Karangdawa village, Margasari Tegal, are to provide support, motivation and supervision as well as busyness in adolescents through learning activities, the Koran, helping with homework and
