Abstract

The purpose of this research is to solve problems and problems in understanding the concept of sami'nā wa atha'nā which has been political and benefits the teacher personally. The results of this study are expected to provide understanding to education activists in particular is Islamic education and beneficial for society in general. The type of research used is literature studies, in the collection of data using documentation taken from primary sources and secondary sources. As for the data analysis technique using 1) Data Reduction, 2) Content Analysis, and 3) Conclusion Withdrawal. The conclusions in this study are: the application of the concept of sami'nā wa atha'nā education in Islamic education there are 3 forms, namely: 1) the application of sami'nā wa atha'nā which is carried out in authority for the benefit of the ummah, 2) the concept of sami'na wa atha'na which is applied in authority for personal interests, and 3) the application of the concept of sami'nā wa atha'nā which is done moderately and humanistly. The contextualization results in Islamic education are done by contextualizing Islam and the west is not contrary to Islamic Shari'ah.
