Abstract

It is important to inculcate religious and moral values through habituation. As for the habituation carried out by parents and teachers, the aim is to provide role models. The function of planting religious and moral values is to develop children's basic potential. During this pandemic, the role of parents and teachers is very much needed. The role of parents and teachers in instilling religious and moral values in children at Roudhotul Mutaalimin Kindergarten. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method with case study research design. The following research subjects were 6 parents and 2 teachers. The selection of research subjects used a non-probability sampling technique, namely six parents with the criteria of housewives, availability of parents, Muslim religion, families who live in intact houses and two teachers who are in B1. The data collected by the researchers used the interview, documentation, and observation methods. While the data analysis uses three stages of research, namely data reduction, data presentation of data verification. And test the validity of the data used is using Triangulation Technique. The results of the study show that: 1) The role of parents in instilling moral and religious values uses a consistent role in educating children, parents' attitudes in the family, appreciation and experience of the religion adopted. Meanwhile, the role of the teacher in instilling moral and religious values is the role of the teacher as an educator, teacher, role model. 2) The values instilled in Roudhotul Mutaalimin Kindergarten are obedient to worship, children can distinguish right from wrong, children are ready to accept punishment if they violate, children like to share, children have good behavior. 3) Supporting factors in instilling moral and religious values by exemplary parents and teachers, B1 educators with Islamic boarding schools background, religious environment, religious facilities, the role of parents and teachers actively guiding, sincerity of parents' prayers. Inhibiting factors during the learning pandemic are influenced by signals, limited internet quota, and there are parents who do not have sophisticated cellphones.
