Abstract

The revision of the KPK Law has been recorded in the state gazette as Law Number 19 of 2019 concerning Amendments to the KPK Law. There are 7 points that risk weakening the KPK in the Law. The focus of this research is related to the need for permission from the Supervisory Board before wiretapping. For these problems, the writer then tries to analyze the implications of the revision of the KPK Law on foreign investment in Indonesia by using the Maslahah Mursalah theory. In this study, the author uses the library method. All works related to this research are used as reference material to describe how Maslahah Mursalah's theoretical views are related to the implications of the revision of the KPK Law, especially the application of Article 12B Paragraph (1) of Law no. 19 of 2019 on investment in Indonesia. To analyze, the writer uses descriptive-analytical method. The results obtained are the implications of the revision of the KPK Law, especially the application of Article 12B Paragraph (1) of Law no. 19 of 2019 has a macro effect on foreign investment in Indonesia. Conceptually, this is contrary to the concept of Maslahah Mursalah because the revision of the KPK law does not lead to benefit but harm.
