Abstract

This study examines the tradition of reading Al-Barzanji in the community of Central Lombok. Serakalan in KBBI is defined as a song or praise. Which in the tradition of reading Al-Barzanji is intended to call out praises to the Prophet Muhammad. The influence of this tradition is also very strong in the people of Central Lombok, especially in the field of religious culture. In the tradition of reading al-barzannji in Central Lombok, it has its own uniqueness, namely the insertion of Sasak and Indonesian languages, where each region has a different insertion form and a different dialect. Therefore, the researcher tries to formulate the problem as follows. First, how is the process of not saying illustrative assertives in the tradition of reading Al-Barzanji. Second, how is the impact and position of the tradition of reading Al-Barzanji for the people of Central Lombok. In analyzing the processes that take place in the tradition of reading Al-Barzanji, the author uses an illocutionary assertive sociolinguistic approach. This assertive theory focuses on exploring the illocutionary speech acts of the speakers which tend to be stating, suggesting, pleading, advising and recommending. to explore how the people of Lombok are carrying out the tradition of reading Al-Barzanji, especially in the variety of readings in each region, as well as revealing what impact the community feels in their daily lives while at the same time finding the position of Al-Barzanji in the middle of the people of central Lombok. The author interprets the racism in the reading of Al-Barzanji as a cultural symbol by giving meaning and interpretation to it in the context of Islamic da'wah in a cultural form. The author argues that the tradition of reading Al-Barzanji shows that there are many types of illustrative assertive speech acts contained in this rakalan tradition, namely assertives in the form of phrases, clauses, and nouns. Another result that was also produced was that there were many impacts resulting from the tradition of reading Al-Barzanji for the people of Central Lombok. The first impact is to bring peace of mind to the reader (mutma'innah). Second, increasing levels of faith. And third, love to pray for the Prophet Muhammad SAW. And from the results of the research as a whole, it can be seen the classification of the position of the tradition of reading Al-Barzanji in the customs and daily life of the people of Central Lombok.
