Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has several laws that aim to regulate and protect the citizens in it. This includes protecting people who are under 18 years of age and are considered children in the eyes of Indonesian law in accordance with Article 1 point 5 of Law no. 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights. But in reality there are still many adults who are supposed to protect children but instead do indecent things. There are still many adults who commit immoral acts to children with various kinds of seduction and tricks. The perpetrators of immoral acts against children also carried out their actions regardless of age. This incident is not in accordance with the human rights that should be owned by children. In Indonesia, it is already regulated on child protection, namely in Law Number 35 of 2014 on the first amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection. This research is descriptive analysis, which is a model used to describe a problem which is then analyzed in depth through legal theory and applicable laws. Henceforth, the approach used is the normative juridical approach, namely the juridical approach is a method for analyzing problems in the form of research from the prevailing point of view while the normative from the point of view of the prevailing norms. The results of this research are the Yogyakarta District Court is appropriate in implementing Article 81 of Law Number 35 of 2014 which punishes the perpetrators in accordance with the applicable laws and considers the victims fairly. The protection provided to victims by the Yogyakarta District Court is also in accordance with existing regulations that the Yogyakarta District Court provides full assistance to victims to restore the psychological condition of disturbed victims by cooperating with institutions engaged in mental health
