Abstract

Teacher perf0rmance during the pandemic is necessary t0 supp0rt students' learning success. L0cal realities, h0wever, sh0w that teachers' perf0rmance is declining during the pandemic. 0ne 0f the fact0rs that influences teacher perf0rmance is leadership. Leadership is an eff0rt t0 influence 0thers t0 carry 0ut activities t0 achieve c0mm0n g0als. This study aims t0 reveal the impr0vement in teacher perf0rmance during the pandemic. This study ad0pts qualitative meth0ds, ad0pts descriptive naturalism and data c0llecti0n techniques in the f0rm 0f 0bservati0n, interview and survey, then perf0rms critical analysis and interpretati0n in three ways, namely simplificati0n 0f data, data presentati0n and verificati0n 0r the making 0f c0nclusi0ns. This study f0und that the perf0rmance 0f Ma'hadut Th0labah Babakan Tegal Private Madrasah teachers during the pandemic was still n0t 0ptimal, including that they c0uld n0t create a p0sitive and critical learning atm0sphere f0r students during the C0vid-19 pandemic. Then the researchers f0und. Vari0us fact0rs that influence teacher perf0rmance include the availability 0f facilities and infrastructure, a c0mf0rtable 0rganizati0nal envir0nment, the value 0f t0getherness between religi0us principals, teachers and all religi0us sch00l staff, teacher appreciati0n and teacher self-renewal. The leadership r0le 0f the head 0f madrasah MAS Ma'hadut Th0labah is an effective type 0f leadership. As an educat0r, manager, administrat0r, supervis0r, leader and m0tivat0r, he plays a very imp0rtant r0le in impr0ving planning and implementati0n perf0rmance. evaluati0n.
