Abstract

Da'i as a communicator must have high credibility so that the communication carried out can influence the mad'u (communicant), and understand the customs and culture of the community, especially in the village community, because the village community is a society that upholds its customs and culture, therefore need to require an intense and structured communication process in conveying the message of da'wah. In this case, Syarak Employees as an institution that carries out da'wah movements in the people of Bangso hamlet, Muaro Jambi district provide an attraction in the communication process carried out in the implementation of da'wah. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods to determine the da'wah method carried out by Syarak Employees and the communication process in the da'wah. The data analysis technique in this study uses qualitative analysis techniques on data in the form of information, descriptions in prose language which is then linked to other data to obtain clarity of a truth. The purpose of this research is to know the method of da'wah for Syarak Employees in maintaining Islamic law in the life of the Bangso hamlet community, as well as the implementation of the communication process (tabligh, taghyir, takwin al-ummah, and khairiyah al-ummah) in da'wah. The results in this study can be concluded that the communication process in da'wah is adapted to the customs and culture of the village community, and uses customs and culture as a method in building an image in society. Likewise, the concept of the message in the da'wah that is carried out also utilizes Jambi Malay literature in the form of showing seloko and teaching reprimand sapo. In addition to inviting goodness and preventing evil, the da'wah carried out by Syarak Employees has principles and goals in various aspects including education, economics to politics. Intense communication process in building a better life which is expected to contribute to the development of da'wah in rural communities.
