Abstract

This study aims to see the management mechanism which include the collecting, recording, development, and utilization of cash waqf at NU Care-LazisNU Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta and the cash waqf program which focuses on supporting the SDGs goal, no poverty. Then, based on the data obtained, the author will measure the level of effectiveness of the implementation of the cash waqf law by using the theory of legal effectiveness proposed by Soerjono Soekanto. So that the academic problems in this study are: 1) How is cash waqf implemented at NU Care-LazisNU Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta In Supporting SDGs ?, 2). How effective is the implementation of cash waqf at NU Care-LazisNU Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in supporting the SDGs?. The design used in this study is field research which took place at NU Care-LazisNU Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The data will be collected by dept interview to informants who really understand about cash waqf. As supporting data, observation and document analysis techniques were also used. Data analysis in this study was carried out qualitatively with descriptive methods that focused on the collecting, recording, development, and utilization of cash waqf in NU Care-LazisNU Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of cash waqf at NU Care-LazisNU Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta is not effective in supporting the SDGs. This can be seen from the reality of poverty alleviation at NU Care-LazisNU Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta besides not meeting the minimum size limit of 5.8%, it also has not met the targets and indicators of poverty alleviation in the SDGs. There are four factors that cause the ineffectiveness of the implementation of cash waqf in NU Care-LazisNU Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The factors in question are law enforcement factors, facilities factors, community factors, and cultural factors.
