Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the function of group communication in building motivation to learn English through the WhatsApp group of SDIT Fajrul Amanah Gunung Putri Teachers, Bogor. The benefits of this research can also be used as an insight into teacher competency development in the future. Contribute thoughts to the school in motivating teachers to learn English and can improve teacher performance as a gateway to knowledge for students. The results obtained, all of the informants stated that the group communication function carried out through the whatsapp group media was able to increase teacher motivation in learning english, it can be seen from the results obtained in the research results that teachers can be motivated again through whatsapp groups and build good communication. Good again so that the motivational program that was stopped can run again
