Abstract

This study discusses about the relationship of social support to stress faced by parents who have children with autism. This study is aimed to determine the relationship of social support to stress in parents who have children with autistic disorders. Quantitative approach is used in this research by using correlation analysis. This study involved 17 parents who have autistic children. The scale is used as a research instrument which is analyzed using a simple regression formula. The results of the study showed that there was a very significant relationship as indicated by the t-count of 10.270. This shows that with a probability level of 0.000, it means that there is a significant influence between social support and stress in parents who have children with autism
