Abstract

The age of teenager is the age of individuals being in puberty and having attraction to the opposite sex. In this period of teenager began to experience an alteration of one about sexuality. There are many factors that influence a teenager's sexual behavior, including because of religion and the enviroment. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between faith and teenage sexual behavior, and to know the difference in the level of sexual behavior of senior high school teens and islamic senior high school in Tanah Merah Indragiri Hilir Riau district. The subject of this study is student in senior high school and islamic senior high school, as many as 257 students chosen through random sampling cluster technique. The data is analyzed using Spearman Rho and Mann Whitney U. Spearman Rho analysis is 0,000 - p<0,05 which means that there is a negative relations between faith and the sexual behavior of teenager, the stronger the faith, the lower the sexual behavior of teenager, and the opposite. Mann Whitney U's analysis is worth 0,006 that is p<0,05 which means there is a differences in sexual behavior between senior high school students and islamic senior high school students. In the mean rank senior high school column, 141,8 is higher than the islamic senior high school score at 116,3. It suggest that senior high school sexual behavior is higher than islamic senior high school's sexual behavior.
