Abstract

Every student in Indonesia has to write a science report to get a graduate degree. Nonetheless student in Arabic major study. They can choose to write the report in Indonesian, english or arabic. But, we are focussing on the one who did the report in Arabic. There are many grammar mistake that I found, including idhofah and naat. They are wrong because they did not obey the grammatical sentence (nahwu). The purpose of this research are to know the mistake in nahwu especially idhofah and naat in their report study. We are focusing on main chapter of the report because it is the core of the report. This is a qualitatif approach research. Data are collected from books,literatur, makolahs,and text. The methode to collect data are observation and documentation from primer and secunder resource. Analysis methode that we are using are collecting books,reading materials that are conected to the resource, analyzing mistake with linguistic study, make conclusions and give an advise. This research show that : 1) We found 205 chase that can be differenciate to 11 category. Al ta'rif in mudlof 64 case (31 %), ya nisbat in mudlof ilaih 47 case (23%), uncoordinater naat and man'ut 42 case (21%), naat as mudhof ilaih 18 case (9%), naat is not isim musytaq 9 case (4%), mudlof ilaih not in the right place 8 case (4%), naat in jumlah does not correspondent to man'ut 5 case (2%), mudlof not right 5 case (2%), there is no differenciate in adad and ma'dud 3 case (2%), identical idhofah 2 case (1%), alif and lam in madud 2 case (1%). 2) That happen because of lack understanding to regulated rule (kaidah), lack of attention in using rule (kaidah) in every sentence that include idhofah and naat.
