Abstract

Transportation, especially cars is really needed by everyone to move places or make work easier. According to research used cars are still excellent of the community of all circles, especially the middle class and down. But the lack of information about used cars that meet the desired criteria is a problem for used car seekers. Therefore we need a system that can provide used car recommendations as desired used car seekers. The recommendation method that can be used is the Fuzzy database model Tahani. This method allows the handling of data that is cryptic by following the human mind. The parameters used are type, transmission, year, condition, engine capacity, passenger capacity, and price. The results of the used car are taken from the membership value or fire strength. The results of case trials that have been carried out by comparing manual calculations and system calculations give the same result or 100% accurate results. Different fuzzy set (criteria) entered by each user will give different recommendation values. Overall, the system created can provide recommendations for used cars to users.
