Abstract

This study aims to (1) produce a module for grade X students with the circular science process skills approach for in study material of uniform circular motion, (2) determine the quality of the competency-based module with the science process skills approach in the study material of uniform circular motionfor grade X according to study material experts, media expert, and senior high school teachers, and (3) determine students responses to the module with the science process skills approach in study material of uniform circular motions for senior high school at grade X. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) with a procedural model. The procedure uses a 4-D model that includes Define, Design, Develop, and Dissemninate which is limited trials phase.This research instruments include validation sheets, assessment sheets, and student response questionnaire sheets. The analysis used in the validation sheet is descriptive. Assessment of the quality of the physics modules uses a Likert scale with a scale of 4 made in the form of checlist. The results of the study are physics modules with science approaches to the process of uniform circular motion material for grade X students. The quality of physics modules based on the results of the material experts, media experts, and physics teachers get a very good category (SB) with a corresponding average score of 3.6; 3.44; and 3.52. Student responses to practicum tools in the limited trial obtained the agreed category with an average score of 3,2.
