Abstract

Communication is the process of sending and receiving messages to exchange the information that always happen in every group. With communication, each group can maintain solidarity, friendship, and coordinate each member, so it does not cause worst impacts that harm the group itself. Many problems often occur because of the poor communication in group. One of those is the communication of the football supporters. Poor communication that occurs can lead to internal disputes to adverse anarchist actions so that the group cannot maintain its solidarity. Pasoepati is one of a football supporters who are able to maintain their solidarity by conducting circular communication patterns. To find out more about the communication patterns of Pasoepati supporters' circular communication in maintaining solidarity between members, further research is needed. The purpose of this study is to find out how the circular communication patterns that occur in Pasoepati supporters in maintaining solidarity between members. This research is a qualitative descriptive study whose research subject is a Pasoepati supporter. The method used in data collection is observation and interview. The data analysis method used is qualitative analysis which includes: data reduction, data display, and conclusions or verification. From the results of research conducted can be known that the circular communication pattern in the Pasoepati supporters group have the same perspection, so it’s enable the message conveyed to be fully understood and interpreted. It can be happen because the commite and members have the same position when communicating and have no difference when the communication process takes place. In the process of encoding, decoding, and feedback members use verbal and non-verbal communication. And in the process of encoding, decoding, and feedback, there is an understanding of meaning so that it can maintain Pasoepati solidarity.
