Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems in early childhood social attitudes that occurred in Class B in RA Al-Is Syah Hakim Medan, the behaviors shown by children to the social environment, nothing beat a friend when a toy is taken, shouting as she spoke, said harshly, there is also a very quiet did not get along with other friends, it indicates low social skills of children. The first person most responsible are the parents, This study aims to 1) To Find ways to teach old people used early childhood class B in RA Al-Is Syah Hakim Medan; 2) To know the development of the social attitudes of the early childhood class B in RA Al-Is Syah Hakim Medan; and 3)To determine the implications of parents' parenting in the development of social attitudes early childhood class B in RA Al-Is Syah Hakim Medan. This research is a qualitative research approach descriptive analysis describes the sources of data obtained through data analysis. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. From these data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation and final conclusion. Examination of the validity of the data used is of two kinds, namely triangulation triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Parenting used parents early childhood class B RA Al-Is Syah Hakim Medan field, discovered three styles of parenting that authoritarian parenting, permissive parenting and parenting democratic, so the researchers find answers to this study that parenting the most dominant implemented by parents at home is a permissive parenting style; 2) The development of social attitudes of the early childhood class B RA Al-Is Syah Hakim Medan, vary according to the style of parenting parents applied. Found the child's social attitudes in authoritarian parenting parents predispose difficult to adapt. Parents who use the permissive parenting of children, gives a tendency to be a son of dependence on parents. Meanwhile, parents who use democratic upbringing of children will become more self-sufficient; 3) Implications parenting parents in the development of social attitudes in authoritarian parenting parents are likely to implications to make anti-social child. Furthermore, permissive parenting, the implications of this parenting children grow uncontrolled child can be very spoiled children to parents and children less independent. While democratic parenting, parenting style democratic implications predispose children have more prosocial attitude.
