Abstract

Many Covid-19 patients and/or survivors experience severe psychological conditions when infected with Covid-19, such as stress due to anxiety about death. However, there were some cases of patients who even experience a spiritual state when infected with Covid-19. The author found cases of spiritual experiences when infected with Covid-19 in three educators had a positive impact felt by the subject, students, and the community. Based on the case, the author wanted to explore more deeply the learning process of the spiritual experience experienced by three educators, and the implications of spiritual experience on three educators, learners, and the wider community. The research method was qualitative by collecting data through interviews with three respondents and significant others; documentation from Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Channel; and observation. The data obtained was analyzed interpretively. The learning process of spiritual experience was outlined in three realms of learning, namely the cognitive, affective, and behavioral realms. While the implications for educators are outlined in five aspects of spirituality, namely aspects of the meaning of life, values, transcendent, connectedness (connecting), and the process of becoming (becoming). The respondents were three educators at different levels and institutions/ institutions, namely Mrs. R, Mrs. M, and Mrs. S. The results showed differences in scientific fields, growing and developing from different educational environments and patterns, causing each subject to give different meanings, points of view, and expressions of spirituality. Although there were differences, they both had good intellectual intelligence (IQ), emotional (EQ), and spiritual (SQ). Implications based on the five aspects of spirituality continued to process into becoming, with the internalization of the value of belief and meaning in every experience in life. The integrity of IQ, EQ, and SQ in educators led their learners to mental hygiene, forming human beings who were charitable and scientific charitable, with a touch of intellectual, emotional, semi-spiritual, and spiritual aspects. In the process of education, Mrs. R could reach all aspects due to the high intensity of żikir and ṣalawāt carried out, so there was a connection to Allah as the Owner of Knowledge, and The Prophet who conveyed knowledge directly. While Mrs. M and Mrs. S only reached the intellectual, emotional, and semi-spiritual aspects. This research contributed to the spiritual experience of educators that had implications for students and society, to the study of Islamic education psychology in the integration between religious psychology and positive psychology.
