Abstract
Foreign Investment is one of the main factors to help Indonesia in development activities. Foreign capital can be used to increase development capital in Indonesia to increase economic growth for the community's welfare. This research is used to determine the effect of gross domestic product, inflation, interest rates, and Islamic banking assets on foreign Investment in Indonesia. The data used in this study is secondary data which is time-series data with a period of 21 years (2000-2020). This study used the error correction model (ECM) method. The results show that the variation of the independent variables (gross domestic product, inflation, interest rates and Islamic banking assets) of 69.33% can explain the effect on the dependent variable (foreign Investment) in Indonesia while the remaining 30.67% is explained by other variables outside the variables studied. The variable gross domestic product has a positive and significant effect on foreign Investment, the inflation variable does not have a significant effect on foreign Investment, the interest rate variable has a negative and insignificant effect on foreign Investment while the Islamic banking asset variable has a positive and significant impact on foreign Investment.
