Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in the company's financial performance between before and after mergers and acquisitions in companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index for the 2013-2021 research period. Financial performance is measured by financial ratio: Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Asset Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Assets Turn Over, Return on Asset, dan Return on Equity. Quantitative methods used in this study, the sample in this study include 8 public companies which had conducted mergers and acquisitions activity and listed on Jakarta Islamic index in the period 2015 – 2019. Paired sample t-test is used to answer the hyphotesis. The results from this study shows Return on Asset, and Return on Equity show the significant difference after merger and acquisitions. While another financial performance variabels did not show the significant difference after merger and acquisitions.
