Abstract
This study aims to analyze the management of non regular thesis paths in the Institutional Repository of Amikom University Yogyakarta using the OAIS (Open Archival Information System) model and find out the obstacles in managing non regular thesis paths at the Institutional Repository of Amikom University Yogyakarta. The non-regular pathway thesis was only established in 2020, and in management there are problems such as frequent policy changes and limited full text access. One of the problems encountered from this challenge concerns the limited accessibility of the collection as a result of Institutional Repository data leakage, causing easy cases of plagiarism in theses and collection preservation that is not in accordance with archival principles. This research uses qualitative. The subjects in this study were librarians and the Eprint content management Auxiliary Team. The object of this research is the process of managing non regular path theses archived in the Institutional Repository of Amikom University Yogyakarta to be analyzed with the components of the OAIS model and the obstacles faced. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. Data validity is done with credibility test and confirmability test. The data analysis used is the Miles & Huberman model through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis show that the management of non regular thesis paths at the Institutional Repository of Amikom University Yogyakarta has shown significant conformity with the OAIS Model standards. This system has successfully accommodated all OAIS components, starting from the external environment involving producers, management, and consumers then internal components which include digesters, archive storage, data management, preservation planning, access, and administration to information package components which include Submission Information Package (SIP), Archiving Information Package (AIP), and Dissemination Information Package (DIP). The variable components that have not been maximized are the submission agreement and the constraints during management in the components of data management, administration, archive storage, and access.
