Abstract

Background of the problem: education experts refer to this age as the golden age of children (the golden age). In a neuroscience study, it is stated that every newborn child develops nerve cells in the brain reaching 25%, until the age of 4 years, the remaining 80% develops until the age of 18 years. This neuroscience study illustrates that the most dominant development of children's intelligence occurs at the age of 0-8 years. On this basis, it is important to instill character values in early childhood in maximizing the abilities and potentials of children. Therefore, do not let us as parents and educators turn off all the potential and creativity of children because of our ignorance. This study aims to describe how to instill the value of creativity in children aged 5-6 years with used educational game tools and to describe the results of instilling the value of creativity as well as describe the supporting factors and inhibiting factors instilling the value of creativity in children aged 5-6 years with used educational game tools. at Amanah Al Kafalah Pedurungan Kindergarten, Semarang. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative type. The subjects of this study were the head of Amanah Al Kafalah Kindergarten, Amanah Al Kafalah Kindergarten educators, parents of students, and students. The research data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Test the validity of the data in this study is triangulation technique. The results of this study conclude that instilling the value of creativity in children aged 5-6 years with used educational game tools in Amanah Al Kafalah Kindergarten is carried out through the stages of planning, implementing and evaluating learning. Used educational toys made by children include traffic signs, literacy trees, and hand puppets. The result of instilling the value of creativity is that children can appreciate the results of their own work, children can use used goods so that they are beautiful and fun. The supporting factors in instilling the value of creativity in coloring, literacy, and storytelling are the personality factors of children, parents, educators, and the environment, while the inhibiting factors are the child's personality factors, teacher factors and educator factors.
