Abstract
The research aims to (1) produce a physics modules on temperature and heat material with the local potential of making Godean tile for SMA/MA, (2) obtaining the quality of physics modules on temperature and heat material with the local potential of making Godean tile for SMA/MA, (3) obtaining the response of students to physics modules on temperature and heat material with the local potential of making Godean tile for SMA/MA. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research. This development method uses a 4-D model, which includes (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Disseminate. This research is limited to develop steps, which a small field test. These research instruments are validation sheets, assessment sheets, and student response sheets. The validation sheers are analysis by triangulasi metoded. The quality of module used likert scale with a scale of 4 and student response uses Guttman scale with a scale of 2 in checklist form. The results of this research is physics modules on temperature and heat material by utilizing the local potential of making Godean tile for SMA/MA. The quality of the physics module based on the results of assessment of material experts and media experts is in the good category (B) with a mean score of 3,22 and 3,23, and physics teacher is in the very good category (SB) with a mean score of 3,85. And student’s responses on small field test has on agree category (S) with a mean score of 0.97.
