Abstract

Education has a strong role in the development of a nation, including the Indonesian nation. Moreover, the re-enactment of limited face-to-face meetings in various regions after conducting online learning for almost 2 years. This led to new problems being found for students because students had to adapt again to the applicable rules. Therefore, it needs encouragement and support from various parties, one of which is parents, this can be done through home visit services by BK teachers. The implementation of home visit services for students of SMK Tamtama 2 Sidareja is considered effective in solving student problems. Based on this background, this study aims to describe the student problems that underlie BK teachers in making decisions for home visit services, describe the management of the implementation of home visit services, and describe the results of implementing home visit services for students of SMK Tamtama 2 Sidareja. The approach used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The informants in this study were two BK teachers and two students who had been given home visit services. Determination of informants in this study using purposive sampling technique. Data collection tools in this study using observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data in this study uses triangulation of sources, namely reduction, data display and conclusions. This study shows that the problems of students who are provided with home visit services include the lightest problems, namely truancy behavior, not taking exam cards, to the most severe ones, namely actions that disturb residents and involve the police. The steps for implementing home visit services for students of SMK Tamtama 2 Sidareja are planning (making RPL and home visit service forms), implementation (visiting the homes of parents or guardians of students), evaluating the implementation of home visit services, analyzing the results of the evaluation of home visit services, and compiling home visit service report. The results of home visit services for students of SMK Tamtama 2 Sidareja are effective in alleviating minor problems to serious problems. Not only for students, home visit services are also useful for BK teachers in obtaining accurate and useful data for parents or guardians of students to find out the actual situation of students at school.
