Abstract

It is the dream of every married couple to have a complete and happy family until the end of their lives. To realize this dream, it is necessary to have the cooperation of family members. However, if coopertion and communication are not well established, it will tigger divorce problems. Currently, there are so many divorce casess in sosiety, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, where many of them have lost their jobs because they were laid off, the economy was not good, and so on. Then, someone who divorces them must go though a mediation prosess, in conduction mediation the mediator will use one of the techniques, namely the reframing technique. This technique is used by mediator to help resolve and prevent divorce from someone who is about to divorce. Therefore, divorce mediation with this reframing technique is very important to prevent to prevent divorce. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach, the type of research is a case study. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were 2 mediators and 2 married couples who had mediated divorce at the Bantul Religious Court. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the stages of the reframing technique to prevent divorce of merried couples in the Religious Courts of Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the stages of the reframing technique to prevent divorce of merried couples in the Religious Courts of Bantul Regency has 6 stages. However, in conducting this mediation there are 3 stages, namely the initial stage, this is the stage of building a relationship between the mediator and the client by asking the identity of the client. The second stage is the stage of giving the reframing technique to the client who will divorce. In this reframing technique there are 6 stages, namely rational, identification of the counselee's perceptions and feelings in problem situations, outlining the roles and features of selected perceptions, identification of alternative perceptions, modifications perceptions in problem situations, as well as homework and solutions. Then for the third stage, which is the closing stage where the mediator will conclude the results of the divorce mediation, whatever the client explain, the mediator will conclude and will convey what it is.
