Abstract

Revolutionary Era Industry 4.0 provides impact positive in development and progress world education, other than that impact negative from this era make generation young start reduce understanding about education character so that causing the delay development quality education. As part from Mental Revolution National Movement (GNRM) in Presidential Decree 87 of 2017 education character is movement education for strengthen character participant educate. Role head school in application strengthening education character very main because play role for determine the process, direction, and program implementation and adaptation with change in the pandemic era. The purpose of this research for knowing Role Head SMP Negeri 3 Kasihan in Implementation Strengthening Education Character, (2) For know the implementation process Strengthening Education Characters in the revolutionary era Industry 4.0 and during the pandemic. (3) To find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of PPK in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and during the pandemic Study this is study qualitative with survey field use method analysis descriptive that takes location research at SMP Negeri 3 Kasihan. Technique data collection used by researcher that is with observation, interview, and documentation. In the process of completing study this use method think interesting inductive conclusion from from fact special and Becomes conclusion that is general. Results study show that: (1) head school play a role as managers, educators, administrators, supervisors, leaders, and innovators in PPK implementation. (2) The process of implementing PPK in the revolutionary era industry 4.0 with development personality through movement scouting and introduction technology, while during a pandemic PPK implementation is carried out through learning distance away (PJJ) or learning online and blended learning. (3) Students have followed the times so that online PPK implementation can be carried out and this is a supporting factor. Meanwhile, the obstacle lies in not delivering the material optimally and not directly monitoring the implementation of the PPK due to online learning.
