Abstract

The low scientific attitude of students in science learning is the subject matter of this research. The formulation of Problems in this research is; (1) How is self-efficacy of students in science learning at MI Al-Hikmah? (2) How is the social support of students in science learning at MI Al-Hikmah? (3) How is the scientific attitude of students in science learning at MI Al-Hikmah? (4) To what extent does the influence of self-efficacy to students’ scientific attitude in science learning at MI Al-Hikmah? (5) To what extent does the influence of social support to students’ scientific attitude in science learning at MI Al-Hikmah? (6) To what extent does the influence of self-efficacy and social support on students' scientific attitude in science learning at MI Al-Hikmah? The method used in this research is quantitative method. Research subjects in this study is the number of the population itself at 152 students consisting of 52 students of grade IV, 50 students of class V and 50 students of class VI. The instruments used in this research are the scale of scientific attitude, self-efficacy scale and social support scale. Results from the data collection are then analyzed and tested hypothesis using multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 23 program. The results of this study indicate that (1) self-efficacy owned by MI Al-Hikmah students are in the medium category with 66%. (2) Social support owned by students of MI Al-Hikmah is in the medium category with the amount of 70%. (3) The scientific attitudes possessed by MI Al-Hikmah students are in moderate category with a total of 72%. (4) Self efficacy has a positive effect on students' scientific attitude in science learning with R value of 0.367, and regression coefficient value is 0.428. (5) Social support positively affects students' scientific attitude in science learning with R value of 0.381, and regression coefficient value of 0.462. (6) The result of F test (simultaneous) showed that self-efficacy and social support together give positive influence to students' scientific attitude in science learning in MI Al-Hikmah Bandung Regency 19,7%.
