Abstract

of Aqidah Akhlak test instrument is necessary to improve the learning quality. MI Al-Huda was a school that chosen as research object espeaaly in fifth grade, because this school was classified as LOTS problem in the making of test instrument and the questions that student did were from textbooks and handbooks.furthermore in arranging daily questions midterm, final exam without starting with the preparation of grids. The test of HOTS quaestins for fifth grade students of MI Al-Huda Sleman is important to do to know the quality of student thinking. This research is Research and Development (R & D) Borg & Gall version (developed by R. Walter Gall, JP. Gall and WR. Borg) consisting of 10 stage research. The location of research is based in MI Al-Huda in Sleman.The Subjects in this study were fifth grade MI with 32 students. The results of this study indicate that: 1)test instrument of fifth grade Aqidah Akhlak MI Al-Huda Sleman seen from the quality of the test instruments used so far is empirically feasible, but it does not reflect the problem of Higher Order Thinking Skills. The evaluation questions given by the teacher at the end of each learning or final examination still emphasize the realm of C1 (Knowledge), C2 (Understanding), C3 (Application). 2) Development of test instrument of fifth grade Aqidah Akhlak MI Al-Huda Sleman based on Higher Order Thinking Skills through 10 stages starting with product manufacturing planning, initial product revision, limited testing, product revision, field / final testing and dissemination. The quality of test instrument of the fifth grade Aqidah Akhlak MI Al-Huda Sleman is based on Higher Order Thinking Skills, based on the qualitative analysis of this test instrument has reached the cognitive level of C4 and C5. The HOTS product on this instrument is worth testing when learning. 3) Quality of test instrument of fifth grade Aqidah Akhlak MI Al- Huda Sleman based on Higher Order Thinking Skills tested through Pearson Product Moment test 20 instrument validity test was declared valid because r count> r table (0.349) and reliability test using Cronbach Alpha produced a score of 0.917 more than 0.85, the power test is different from 20 questions that have enough titles as x many as 11, both 6 questions and 3 excellent questions, the difficulty level analysis of 7 easy categories and 13 questions in the moderate category. And the effectiveness of the deception of 20 questions is 18 questions that have a good deception.
