Abstract

The Character of the nation's children is increasingly eroded by the spread of various problems related to moral degradation such as: corruption, nepotism, dishonesty which has made schools restless. Character education becomes a solution to solve the problem. One of the things that is proclaimed in TK Masyithoh 25 Sokaraja is education integratity based on school culture through habituation program. This type of research is a field research with research object in TK Masyithoh 25 Sokaraja. This research is a qualitative descriptive research that seeks to provide a description of the background, character, and character that is typical of the case in the field, to explore the data done by means of intensive relationships with data sources. Data in the form of a description of the activity or behavior of the subject and other documents obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis by Miles and Huberman method is data reduction, data presentation, data interpretation, and verification. The theory used in this thesis is the theory of Novan Ardy Wiyani’s who has developed the theory of Mulyasa. While the theory of response stimulus is a theory of Pavlov while reinforcement comes from Skinner's behavioristic learning theory. All of it is a unity integrity character education which is running by TK Masyithoh 25 Sokaraja. The results of this study are found four habits used in character integrity education that is routine habituation, spontaneous habituation (gift giving, punishment, and advice), habituation with exemplary, and conditioning with conditioning. Every habit there is stimulus, response, and reinforcement. Strengthening is widely used is a positive reinforcement in the form of nonmaterial reward. The above habituation was studied in four times: habituation before class, classroom habit, resting habits, and habituation at school. The four habits are the basis for the education of the character of integrity (honesty, exemplary, and politeness) in children. Reinforcement became a priority in character education. And by giving positive and negative reinforcement, children will be easier in learning integrity character education at TK Masyithoh 25 Sokaraja.
