Abstract

In measuring the level of public welfare, the parameter of success of fiscal performance is a very important thing to do. In this study, researchers used the number of poor people as a proxy of indicators in the level of community welfare. The performance of an efficient fiscal will have an impact to improve welfare in society so that in this case it will affect the decline of the number of poor people. This study has the objective to analyze the level of efficiency of the district / city fiscal performance in D.I Yogyakarta by using the Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) analysis tool. The results showed that the average level of fiscal performance efficiency of regencies / cities in DI Yogyakarta in 2011-2018 did not reach the maximum efficiency value, the efficiency level showed a figure of 60%, so it can be said that the fiscal performance in the regencies / cities in DI Yogyakarta was not efficient.
