Abstract

Quantitative research with data analysis method in the form of associative evaluation was aims to evaluate the level of effectiveness and relationship and contribution of implementation of university autonomy in balanced scorecard perspective covering four sub factors namely financial perspective, customer perspective, internal process perspective, and learning and growth perspective, on quality learning. This research based on the theory of Two Factors that was initiating by Frederick Herzberg. The research was conducted at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, with a sample of 242 students from the population of 610 students force 2015. Sampling was base on the rules of Probability sampling by cluster random sampling technique. Independent variable in this research is implementation of university autonomy in financial perspective (X1), customer perspective (X2), internal process perspective (X3), and learning and growth perspective (X4), while the dependent variable is the quality of learning (Y). In this study also mapped control variables in the form of interest in learning (Z). Data analysis methods used in this research are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with the help of SPSS (Statistical Product and Social Sciences) application. The result of research shows that the relationship between the implementation of university autonomy in the perspective of balanced scorecard is the financial perspective (X1) on the quality of learning (Y) influenced by the comparison of bivariate correlation (ryx) with partial correlation (ryx.z) obtained by ryx < ryx.z, and regression analysis results obtained contribution of variable X1 to variable Y equal to 1.8%. Meanwhile, the relation between the implementation of university autonomy in the perspective of balanced scorecard which includes the customer perspective (X2), internal process perspective (X3), and learning and growth perspective (X4) with the quality of learning (Y) have no direct effect, but mediated by interest study (Z). This is based on comparison of result of bivariate correlation analysis (ryx) with partial correlation (ryx.z) obtained ryx > ryx.z for three independent variables (X2, X3, and X4). Based on the result of regression analysis, the contribution of X2 variable to Y variables is Z-mediated by 45.7%, the contribution of X3 to Y variable was mediating by 42.2%, and the contribution of X4 to Y variable is 42.3%. The results obtained from multiple regression analysis are obtain by the contribution of variables X1, X2, X3, and X4, to Y is 49.3%.
