Abstract

Dividend policy is a decision to determine the share of income distributed to the shareholders and the amount of the share of income that being held for the benefit of the company, therefore divestment policy became one of the important financial policy in a company. Here dividend payout ratio calculated using the (DPR). This research aims to test the empiric basis relationship leverage measured by DAR (Debt to Total Assets), liquidity as measured by CR (Current Ratio), growth, size, and managerial ownership against the dividend policy contained in Islamic Indonesian Stock Index, and test the influence of profitability measured by ROE (Return on Equity Ratio) as intervening in the relationship of the variables. This type of research is explanatory research, where this research is done by emphasizing the test on the theory using quantitative measurement of variables, through statistical procedures. Sampling techniques in the study using a purposive sampling from 2012-2016 and obtained a total sample as much as 115. Sobel Analysis is used to analyze the data in this study. The results showed that the independent variables are simultaneously above variable profitability (ROE) able to intervene the relationship between liquidity, growth, and size to parliament, but profitability (ROE) can not interfere relationship between leverage and managerial ownership to DPR.
