Abstract

The world of education is dynamic, therefore it requires educational institutions to always innovate in improving the quality of the educational institutions. One of an educational institution quality is influenced by management, how the management process of an educational institution can improve the quality, the government issued an adiwiyata program as a form of program in improving the quality of education as well as to preserve the environment. Schools that already implement adiwiyata will showcase a clean, green and comfortable environment. So that condition can improve moody and motivation of learners to be more active studying in school environment. This study aims to find out how environmental management in SD Muhammadiyah Bodon, and whether there is influence of adiwiyata program on student learning, and to know the success factor and failure of adiwiyata program at SD Muhammadiyah Bodon. This research type is field research (field study research). The nature of this research is the combination method (Mixed Method). The researcher used a combination model or Sequential Ekploratory design method which is a combination research method that combines qualitative and quantitative research methods in different time sequences. The results of this study are as follows: a) Planning: starting from program planning, human resource planning, infrastructure planning. b) Organizing: starting from: teacher as Team Teaching, principal task of principal, vice principal and teacher, main duty and function of academic supervisor. c) Implementation: implementation, environmental action, environmental arrangement mechanism, concept of adiwiyata program consisting of participatory activity technique, environment-based curriculum determination, management of infrastructure facilities. d) Supervision: supervision includes 4 categories: monitoring, supervision, reporting and follow-up. While the activities include managerial and academic supervision that includes the fostering and monitoring the implementation of the management program adiwiyata. The influence of adiwiyata program on student learning is at 91% position which means more than 70% so it can be said adiwiyata program has an effect on student learning. In this research found several factors of success and failure in applying of adiwiyata program at SD Muhammadiyah Bodon which influence student learning.
