Abstract

The research aims to know the process of occurrence forgiveness is on adloscence whose parents divorced. Informants in this study amounted to twoo people who are victims of divorce parents when they are in adolescence. This research used the qualitative approach. The main data collection method using interviews. Interview techniques used is a semi structured interview conducted on informants and significant other. Both informants have equations in interpret about forgiveness that is forgiven can give positive energy on the individual, make someone become more quiet, lighten the mind load and rebuild good relations with both parents. Two informant needs time several years to be able to forgive. The results showed that two informant to be able to forgive in total forgivenes. Based on the research that has been done, there are nine factors that affect of forgiveness, (1) empathy, (2) contemplation, (3) the level of closeness, (4) apology, (5) the attribution social (6) the heartache level, (7) characteristics and personalities,(8) the religious values, (9) the length of time after the painful events that happen.
