Abstract

Hyperactive children are children with special needs who have shortcomings and are different from children in general, but hyperactive children also have the right to go to school and society. Hyperactive children also need religious guidance. Religion is taught to hyperactive children who are introduced to the basics of Religion. Based on this background, the focus of this research is to find and describe the implementation of the religious guidance method in dealing with hyperactive children at the Bina Remaja Orphanage Sleman. This type of research is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation and technical triangulation. The collected data is compiled, grouped together, then analyzed, so that it can answer the problem formulation. The results of this study indicate that the method used by the orphanage in religious guidance to deal with hyperactive children there are two methods, namely the group method which is divided into 3 subject matter, namely daily prayers, short surahs, and sholawatan to made it easy both for tutor and children. And second method is centered by client, which in this method the material is to taught the children about pray movements and be able to concentrate and minimize supervision.
