Abstract

The Covid-19 virus first appeared in late 2019. The Indonesian government has made every effort, from requiring the public to wear masks, maintain a safe distance, and administer vaccinations, as outlined in Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 14 of 2021 concerning Vaccine Procurement and Vaccination Implementation in the Context of Overcome the 2019 Coronavirus Disease Pandemic (Covid-19). In order to deal with Covid-19, the government uses the media to disseminate information. This study uses Cultivation Theory, and the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of News Exposure of vaccination on television has an impact on the people of Tegaltirto Village's compliance, Berbah District, Sleman Regency using quantitative methods. The sample used was 100 respondents with a total population of 13,508 people using the cluster sampling technique. The data in this study were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis, which yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.133, indicating that news exposure of vaccination on television has an impact on the people of Tegaltirto Village's compliance, with another 86.7% influenced by factors other than the variables studied. As a result, H0 is rejected in this study, while H1 is accepted.
