Abstract

Paciran District is an area known as a religious tourism destination because there are guardian graves and a number of developed Islamic boarding schools. Religious nuances greatly impact people's lives which are manifested in the form of organizing daily studies, tabligh akbar, and dhikr together. Harmony is also well established in each village. Such as mutual cooperation activities, donations, and help. Unfortunately this only applies to adults, not teenagers. It was found that teenagers in the Paciran area did not care about other people. Such as ignoring a grandfather who is falling and needs help, refusing orders from parents who are in need of help, and not participating in group assignments. Such behavior needs to be addressed by inculcating prosocial behavior in adolescents starting from parental care and religiosity. This study aims to determine the effect of positive parenting and religiosity on prosocial behavior of adolescents aged 13-16 years in Paciran sub-district. The total population is 20.964 with a sample of 342. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique. The tool used for data collection is a Likert Scale which includes a positive parenting scale, a religiosity scale, and a prosocial behavior scale. As for the analysis technique used is multiple regression. This study finds that the first hypothesis shows a positive relationship between positive parenting and adolescent prosocial behavior, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, with a (P) value of 0.000 <0.05 and a t-count value of 7.679 > t-table 1.966. And the contribution of determination is 0.381 or 38.1%. The results of the second hypothesis state that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is a significant relationship between religiosity and prosocial behavior. This result is known that the value (P) is 0.000 <0.05 and the t-count value is 8.979> t-table is 1.966 with an effective contribution of 0.412 or 41.2%. Furthermore, the analysis of the major hypotheses showed positive results that together there was a significant influence between positive parenting and religiosity on adolescent prosocial behavior. Simultaneously the value of (P) a is 0.000 < 0.05. Then for the calculated F value of 172,093 > F table 3.02. The contribution given from the two independent variables is 0.497 or 49.7%. As for the remaining 53.1%, which is influenced by other variables.
