Abstract

Managing village potential is a step that can be developed and used for the benefit of the community. The existence of problems faced by the community as well as the solutions offered are added values in the establishment of BUMDes. BUMDes Mardi Gemi is a BUMDes that has four business units, all of which are excavations to present solutions to problems faced by the community. BUMDes Mardi Gemi is an effort to improve the welfare of the community in Gari Village, through its business units namely Argowijil Ecological Market, Deganet, Tourism, and Pamdesa, starting to be able to unravel problems and have an economic impact on the community. In this thesis, the researcher wants to conduct research on how the strategy for managing BUMDes Mardi Gemi and its impact on strengthening the economy of the Gari Village community. The research conducted by Roni Fadli, a student of the Islamic Community Development Study Program, Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University, Yogyarata, aims to describe the Mardi Gemi BUMDes management strategy in running BUMDes and its impact on the community's economy. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach that describes events in accordance with the reality in the field with data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The focus of this research is (1) The existence of BUMDes Mardi Gemi includes the stages of strategy, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating, as well as its influence on strengthening the community's economy. Researchers determine informants based on criteria, namely researchers determine and then select informants as data sources that researchers have determined according to the criteria in this study. The results of this study indicate that BUMDes Mardi Gemi in carrying out management strategies through four stages including the planning stage, the organizing stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The management of BUMDes Mardi Gemi has an impact on the community such as opening up employment opportunities for the community and equitable distribution of economic income.
