Abstract

Career maturity of the students is still become a problem nowadays. According to the study, there are students who have not reached career maturity. Self-efficacy and democratic parenting become the factors for the students to achieve career maturity. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of self-efficacy and democratic parenting with career maturity of Madrasah Aliyah students who were given vocational curriculum. This research was conducted online by using google form questionnaire. The subjects of this study are the students of MAN "X" Pekalongan who joined vocational class. This study involved 119 respondents. Major hypothesis in this study is stated significant or accepted, which means there is a correlation between self-efficacy and democratic parenting with students career maturity, which got corelation value 0.580, F value 59.459 and sig value 0.000 (p < 0.05). However, the previous minor hypothesis of the study is not stated significant or rejected which means there is no positive correlation between self-efficacy and students career maturity. The second hypothesis of this study is accepted, which means there is a positive correlation between democratic parenting and students career maturity with an effective contribution 311.1%
