Abstract

This thesis is the result of quantitative research that aims to determine the relationship and the magnitude of the influence between the existence of the DIY Cipayung group on the level of awareness of religious moderation of extra student organizations (PMII, GMNI, GMKI, HMI, PMKRI) This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The number of samples in this study were 385 respondents. The respondents in this study were all extra student cadres who were members of the Cipayung DIY group. Determination of the ample using random sampling technique and to take the amount from each research organization using the calculation of the Slovin formula. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the Cipayung extra group student organization (x) and the level of awareness of religious moderation (y). This is based on the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00 which means <0.05. Based on the Anova test, the Sig value was 0.000 (<0.05) so it could be concluded that there was a significant influence between the Cipayung extra group student organization and awareness of religious moderation.
