Abstract

The process of selecting housing developments objectively is very important to determine housing development that is in accordance with the level of need with predetermined criteria. Currently, the process for selecting housing is still using the manual method, so there is a mismatch between the leadership data and the housing developer. The similarity of data is important in the selection process for development and marketing. The research that will be carried out is to make a decision support system using the Elimination and Choice Translation Reality method. The workings of this method use pairwise comparisons of the alternatives for each appropriate criterion based on the concept of outranking. This system processes the selection using five criteria, namely the distance from the house to the city center; the distance from the house to the nearest hospital; the distance from the house to the nearest market; the distance from the house to the nearest school; and population. Referring to the results of the tests that the researchers did with 20 respondents, 100% of the system was able to run well. The results of the usability test questionnaire from 20 respondents showed 50.83% strongly agree, 44.16% of respondents agreed, and 4.16% of respondents stated neutral that the system can assist in determining housing recommendations to be built.
