Abstract

Practical activities are closely related to science process skills. When science learning is delivered with practicum, students have a very big opportunity to develop science process skills in themselves. The development of this practicum guide aims to (1) develop practical guides and psychomotor assessment instruments based on science process skills (2) determine the quality of practicum guides and psychomotor assessment instruments (3) determine student responses and the implementation of practicum guidelines (4) determine teacher responses to assessment instruments science-based psychomotor skills. This research base on Research and Development with a simplified Borg and Gall development model by the Puslitjaknov Team. This research is limited to the stage of small-scale field trials and product revisions. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, product quality assessment sheets, student response questionnaire sheets, teacher response questionnaire sheets and implementation observation sheets. Qualitative data is analyzed by converting it into quantitative data and looking for the average score. Assessment of product quality and teacher responses using a Likert scale with 4 scales made in the form of a checklist. Then for student responses using the Guttman scale. As for the implementation of the product using a descriptive sheet. The results of this development research are (1) produced a practical guide book for vibration, waves and sound has been developed which contains two experiments and one demonstration. As a complement to the guidebook to make it easier for teachers to assess, psychomotor assessment instruments were also developed. This product was developed based on science process skills according to Rustaman (2) quality of the product developed based on the assessment of physics specialist, media specialist, and teachers has a very good category with an average score of 3.82; 3.80; 3.86. (3) student's response to the practicum guide in small field test is to agree. With an average score of 1.00. The results of the implementation of the practicum guide on small field test are that all aspects are implemented, (4) teacher's response to the psychomotor assessment instrument is very agree with average score 3,93
