Abstract

This study aims to further analyze the influence of religiosity and self-control on academic procrastination of students who are working on their thesis. The subjects in this study were active students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The mayor's hypothesis is the influence of religiosity and self-control on the academic procrastination of students who are working on their thesis. Minor’s hypothesis is that there is a religious influence on the academic procrastination and there is an influence of self-control on the academic procrastination of students who are working on their thesis. The method is a quantitative research method. The results showed that simultaneously religiosity and self-control variables affected academic procrastination with a significance < 0.001 with an effect of 39.6%. Religiosity partially doesn’t affect academic procrastination, because the p > 0.05 with an effective contribution of 0.003%. Self-control can explain academic procrastination p <0.05 with an effective contribution of 39.3%.
