Abstract

Along with the advancement of the industrial world, the competition between companies is getting tougher, so that customer satisfaction is very concerned in order to win the competition and will be a very big influence for the company. CV. Mega Jaya Logam is a company engaged in the metal casting industry. A quality product is the most important hope for the company. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). FMEA is a method to identify and analyze potential failures and their consequences which aims to plan the production process well. The FMEA in this study was made using a Fishbone Diagram to find the cause of failure, while to provide priority recommendations for improvement using a Pareto diagram. There are 15 causes of failure that occur in the production of stand bollards. Recommendations for improvement to minimize failure are (K1), (K6), (K15), (K5), (K13), (K11), (K3), (K10), (K12), (K8), and ( K14).
