Abstract

Islamic National University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta is one of the Islamic universities in Indonesia. Many students come from various cities, even outside the island. An example is the city of Banjarnegara. Promotion from regional student organizations is one of the reasons the university was chosen by students. Kembara is one of the regional student organizations that provides university information and promotions to high school students and the equivalent. This research used a qualitative descriptive method, in collecting data through observation, interviews and utilizing similar research that already exists. Based on the results of the research, they succeeded in providing information, persuading and influencing, giving an impression, becoming a tool to achieve goals in growing the interest of applicants at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.
