Abstract

This study entitled marketing communication in increasing tourist visits during Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to analyze the components of marketing communication used in Bukit Rhema as tourism objects to increase the tourist visits during Covid 19 pandemic. The types of research is descriptive qualitative, with deepth observation techniques and interviews with two informants, a senior supervisor and a junior supervisor at the Bukit Rhema. The issues discussed in this research is the succeed of Bukit Rhema as a tourist attraction in increasing tourist visits during the Covid-19 pandemic through the seven components of marketing communication from Kotler & Keller, those are: advertising, sales promotion, events and experiences, public relations, direct marketing, word of mouth marketing, and marketing via the internet. The results of this study indicates that the most advertising components in marketing communication that play a role in increasing tourist visits in Bukit Rhema during the covid 19 pandemic is Instagram and Facebook.
